Registration for our events currently takes place via Partiful.
An RSVP or registration via Partiful alone does not constitute a confirmed ticket and does not guarantee a place at the event.
After RSVPing, participants are asked to complete the applicable payment via PayPal.
Your booking is confirmed once Treehouze has received the full ticket price.
By completing the payment, the participant agrees to these Ticket & Event Terms.
If an event is already fully booked or we are otherwise unable to allocate a payment to an available place, the amount paid will be refunded in full.
The applicable ticket price will be clearly stated before payment.
Payment is currently made via PayPal using the payment details or payment link provided by Treehouze.
Any fees charged by PayPal or another payment service provider as a result of the payment method selected by the participant are governed by the terms of the respective payment service provider.
Our events are services related to leisure activities provided on a specific date or during a specific period.
For such contracts, there is generally no statutory 14-day right of withdrawal under Section 312g(2)(9) of the German Civil Code (BGB).
Our voluntary cancellation and refund rules are set out below.
Cancellations must be sent to hello@treehouze.de.
Unless otherwise stated for a specific event, the following rules apply:
cancellation at least 7 days before the event: full refund of the ticket price;
cancellation less than 7 days before the event: no guaranteed refund;
no-show: no refund.
If we are able to reallocate a place following a late cancellation, we may voluntarily refund the ticket price. There is no entitlement to such a refund.
A ticket may be transferred free of charge to another person who meets the participation requirements of the relevant event.
Please notify us of the transfer before the event by email at hello@treehouze.de and provide the name of the person who will attend instead.
The person receiving the transferred ticket must comply with these Ticket & Event Terms and any event-specific participation requirements.
We reserve the right to cancel, postpone or reasonably modify an event for good cause.
If we cancel an event entirely, ticket prices already paid will be refunded in full.
If an event is postponed, participants may choose either to attend the replacement date or receive a refund of the ticket price.
Additional expenses, including travel, accommodation or other personal costs, will only be reimbursed where required by law.
Reasonable changes to the programme, schedule, venue setup or individual elements of the event do not entitle participants to a refund where the overall nature of the event remains substantially unchanged.
Our events are intended exclusively for persons aged 18 or over.
Participants may be required to provide suitable proof of age upon request.
Admission may be refused, or a participant may be required to leave the event, in particular where the participant:
is clearly heavily intoxicated;
harasses, threatens or endangers other guests, Treehouze staff or venue personnel;
behaves in a discriminatory, abusive or seriously inappropriate manner;
disregards reasonable instructions from Treehouze or the venue;
materially disrupts the event; or
violates applicable venue rules.
Statutory rights remain unaffected.
The house rules and reasonable instructions of the relevant venue also apply during the event.
Treehouze and the venue may exercise their respective rights to maintain order within their areas of responsibility.
In particular, emergency exits and escape routes must be kept clear and all safety-related instructions issued by Treehouze or the venue must be followed.
Unless expressly stated otherwise for a particular event, food and beverage services, including the serving of alcoholic beverages, are provided by the relevant venue and not by Treehouze.
The venue's applicable rules and conditions may therefore apply additionally to food and beverage services.
Photos and videos may be taken during individual Treehouze events.
Where consent is required for the use of such recordings, Treehouze will request this separately, for example during registration via Partiful.
Refusing photo or video consent does not affect a participant's right to attend the event.
Where consent has been given, selected recordings may be used for Treehouze's marketing and communications, including on our website, social media channels and in the promotion of future Treehouze events.
Consent may be withdrawn for the future by contacting hello@treehouze.de.
Further information can be found in our Privacy Policy.
Treehouze aims to provide a respectful and safe environment for meeting other people.
Discriminatory, threatening, abusive, harassing or otherwise seriously inappropriate behaviour towards other participants, Treehouze staff or venue personnel will not be tolerated.
Treehouze reserves the right to exclude participants from the event in the event of such conduct.
Where exclusion is justified by the participant's own conduct, there is generally no entitlement to a refund, subject to applicable law.
Participants are responsible for their own personal belongings.
Treehouze is liable for the loss, theft or damage of personal belongings only in accordance with the applicable statutory provisions.
Where the venue provides a cloakroom or other storage facilities, the venue's terms may additionally apply.
Treehouze is liable without limitation for:
intentional or grossly negligent conduct;
injury to life, body or health caused by negligent or intentional conduct; and
liability that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.
In cases of ordinary negligence involving the breach of an essential contractual obligation, liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract.
In all other respects, liability is governed by the applicable statutory provisions.
Treehouze currently uses external providers in connection with event registration and payment, including Partiful and PayPal.
These providers may operate under their own terms and privacy policies where they process data or provide services under their own responsibility.
Treehouze is not responsible for the independent services of third-party providers beyond the extent required by law.
Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
This includes, where applicable, information provided through Partiful, payment information received through PayPal and information required for event organisation and participant communication.
These Ticket & Event Terms apply where participants are informed of them before completing payment and have a reasonable opportunity to review them.
The applicable version of these Ticket & Event Terms should therefore be accessible before the participant completes the payment required to confirm the booking.
The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany apply.
Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which a consumer has their habitual residence remain unaffected where applicable.
For bookings already concluded, the version of these Ticket & Event Terms applicable at the time of booking will generally continue to apply.
Changes to these terms will apply only to future bookings unless otherwise agreed or required by law.
